Petran Kockelkoren is a Dutch philosopher, cultural anthropologist, and author. He is an emeritus professor of Art and Technology at the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands. His work explores the intersections of philosophy, history, technology, and art, with a particular focus on the cultural history of human perception and the mediation of nature through material and technological means. He has lectured and taught at institutions including the University of Twente and the art academy AKI ArtEZ. He is known for his narratives on how technological developments shape our sensory experience and the myths that underpin modern life.[1,2,3]
