Pierre Borhan

Pierre Borhan (born July 11, 1947) is a French writer, journalist, art historian, and museum curator specializing in photography. He has been dedicated to the field of photography since 1980. Borhan served as the Director of Photographic Heritage at the French Ministry of Culture from 1988 to 2003. He was also an editor-in-chief for 'Clichés' magazine (1984–1989) and has contributed to numerous publications including 'Photo Revue', 'Beaux Arts Magazine', and 'Monuments Historiques'. A prolific author, he has written monographs on various photographers such as André Kertész, Roger Corbeau, and Jan Saudek. He is also a collector of photographic works and has curated numerous exhibitions focusing on the history of photography, maritime photography, and homoeroticism in art.[1]
