Pontus Hultén was a Swedish art collector and museum director who served as the director of Moderna Museet in Stockholm from 1958 to 1973. He is regarded as one of the most influential curators of the 20th century, known for his fearless advocacy for modern art and his role in establishing several major museums across Europe and America.^[1]
