Ramón Esparza

Ramón Esparza is a Spanish journalist, art critic, and exhibition curator. Born in Pamplona in 1954, he holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Navarra (1976) and a PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of the Basque Country (1989). He is currently a tenured professor of Audiovisual Communication at the University of the Basque Country. Esparza has worked as a press photographer for over a decade and serves as a critic for the visual arts section of the supplement El Cultural. He has curated more than thirty exhibitions, focusing on photography, history, aesthetics, and the theory of visual representation.^[1,2]
