Raymond Jean
author
Raymond Jean was a prolific French writer and essayist. Born in Marseille in 1925 and deceased in Gargas in 2012, he served as a long-time professor at the University of Aix-en-Provence. He was a frequent contributor to publications such as Le Monde, La Quinzaine littéraire, and Europe. His literary output includes nearly forty books, ranging from novels and essays to short stories. He collaborated with photographer Pierre-Jean Amar on several works, including 'Nus' (1990) and 'Jardins de Cézanne'.[1,2]
