Reynolds Price

Reynolds Price (1933–2011) was an American poet, novelist, dramatist, essayist, and professor. He served as the James B. Duke Professor of English at Duke University. His literary career began with his first novel, 'A Long and Happy Life' (1962), which won the William Faulkner Award for a notable first novel. Price was known for his diverse body of work, including numerous novels, volumes of short stories, poems, plays, and memoirs. He contributed an afterword to Sally Mann's influential photography book 'Immediate Family'.[1]
