Paul Citroen (1896–1983) was a German-born Dutch artist, educator, and photographer. A student at the Bauhaus, he became a notable figure in the Dutch avant-garde art scene. He is recognized for his innovative approach to photography, which he presented as an artistic medium during the Interbellum, and for his experimental photo-collages. He was a co-founder of the New Art Academy in Amsterdam and is remembered for his contributions to the development of photography as a fine art.[1,2,3,4,5]
