Roy Meredith was an American writer and television producer specializing in the pictorial history of the American Civil War. He is best known for his extensive documentation and contextualization of Mathew B. Brady's pioneering photography from the era. In addition to his books, Meredith produced television programs such as 'The American Civil War: A Pictorial History Through the Photographs of Mathew B. Brady' in 1959.[3,4]
