Sonya Winterberg is a German author and researcher whose work focuses on children, war, and trauma. She holds an MA in European Digital Media Studies from the University of Portsmouth, UK. Her writing explores major news events including the aftermath of the war in Bosnia, the 2005 Kashmir earthquake, Hurricane Katrina, and refugee resettlement in Afghanistan. She is the author of several books on children in conflict zones, notably 'Enduring Srebrenica' (2012) and 'Wolfskinder – A Post-War Story' (2015).[1,2]
