Theo G.L. Knippenberg

Theo Knippenberg is a Dutch writer and publisher. In the late 1960s, he founded his own publishing house, which became known for producing 'bulkboeken'—books printed in large quantities on newspaper paper in tabloid format. Between 1971 and 1999, his company published over 250 such works featuring established authors like Louis Paul Boon and Harry Mulisch, as well as younger writers. In the early 1970s, he also produced 'Kralingen '70: 'n Grote Blijde Bende', a visual report on the Holland Pop Festival in Rotterdam. Later, he founded the magazine Kaos and worked on educational methods.[2,3]
