Virginia Dodier

Virginia Dodier is a specialist in libraries, archives, and museums (LAM) who has held several prominent roles in the field of photographic history. She served as an Associate Librarian at the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film in Rochester, New York, where she maintained the research library and rare books collection. Previously, she was the director of the Carlsbad Museum and Art Center in New Mexico for ten years and worked as a study center supervisor in the Department of Photography at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. She holds a master's degree in the history of art from the Courtauld Institute of Art at the University of London, and a master's degree in library science with an archives studies certificate from Emporia State University.[1]
