William Graatsma

William Graatsma (1925–2017) was a Dutch designer and artist known for his work in modular design and kinetic art. He collaborated extensively with Jan Slothouber on projects exploring the relationship between three-dimensional structures and two-dimensional graphics, notably founding the Centre for Cubic Constructions in 1965. His artistic practice often involved geometric shapes, movement, and light. Graatsma was also a key figure in the establishment of the Werner Mantz Stichting in 1989, serving as its director to promote black and white photography.[1,2]
