Wout Berger is a Dutch photographer known for his 'topographical' landscape photography. He is an expert in using technical cameras and high vantage points to capture detailed images of nature, space, and everyday environments. He was one of the first photographers in the Netherlands to specialize in making his own color prints. He has also been a lecturer at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. His work often explores the aesthetics of the cultural landscape and the visual documentation of specific environments, such as chemical waste dumps.[1,2,3]
