This book is the German edition of an exhibition catalogue published by Fundació Antoni Tàpies in Barcelona. It accompanies a series of exhibitions held at the Rupertinum (Salzburg), the Salzburger Landessammlungen, and the Museum Friedericianum. The work provides a comprehensive overview of the photographer Brassai's artistic trajectory, spanning from his early portraiture within the French artist and literary scenes to his nocturnal photographs of Paris and eventually his graffiti works. It features texts by Manuel J. Borgja-Villel, Dawn Ades, and Jean-François Chevrier.
