He has held significant positions in the art world, including serving as the artistic director of the Fridericianum in Kassel from 1987 to 1995 and as head of the Städtische Galerie Leerer Beutel in Regensburg starting in 1980. Loers is active as a curator and author in German-speaking countries, frequently contributing to monographs and exhibition catalogues for major museums.[1,2]
