€65.00
First edition - An anthology of photography by Desiree Dolran, one of the most successful artists of her generation.
This bilingual publication serves as a comprehensive retrospective of the artistic output of Belgian photographer and visual artist Desiree Dolron between 1990 and 2005. Published in conjunction with an exhibition at the Hague Museum of Photography, the book showcases four of her most significant photo series: 'Gaze,' a collection of portraits; 'Exaltation,' documenting religious gatherings in India and Pakistan; the mysterious narrative of 'Xteriors'; and 'Te di todos mis suenos,' which captures alluring and disconcerting impressions of contemporary Cuba. The work is presented with text by Charlotte Cotton and Wim van Sinderen, and was designed by Maarten Evenhuis. It features 160 pages of high-quality illustrations, primarily in color on glossy paper.
