Esther Kroon 1966-1992 is a commemorative photographic volume by Dutch photographer Esther Kroon (1966-1992). The publication documents a significant portion of Kroon's archive, which primarily consists of black and white portraits of children taken in Amsterdam and Barcelona between 1988 and 1990. The book highlights her distinct artistic style, which was characterized by extremely low viewpoints and the combination of flash with daylight, a technique influenced by her mentor, portrait photographer Rineke Dijkstra. The edition, published by Duo/ Duo in 1993, features text by Hripsimé Visser and was compiled by Dijkstra. It includes 35 photographs and provides a historical record of Kroon's work before her death in Guatemala in 1992.
