Sleeping Beauties

Sleeping Beauties is a photographic book documenting a unique collection of several dozen antique classic cars that were neglected for decades on an old farm in France. The vehicles, which had been left to the elements and overgrown by vegetation since at least 1983, were eventually granted permission for documentation. The work features stunning photography by Herbert Hesselmann, who captured the 'sleeping' automobiles in their original state of decay, accompanied by text by Halwart Schrader.
