Shape of Time - Rockfalls, Rivermouths, Ponds
€96.00
Three series of works made on the south coast of England by leading British photographer Jem Southam. These large format colour photographs have a monumental presence, depicting the interplay of natural, cultural and mythical elements. Southam returns to the same place again and again to patiently and meticulously trace changes over seasons and even years. Recording cliff rock falls, rivermouths and ponds, the images have a sense of stillness, yet each site is in a state of continual flux.
Essays by David Chandler, Ian Jeffrey and Jeremy Millar.
Limited edition of 1000.
