Curated by William Guerrieri e Tiziana Serena, text in italian and english by Guido Guidi.
Dedicated to high speed territories. A group of Italian and foreign photographers spend three years scouring the areas that are taking space along the new high speed and high capacity railway line. Their aim is to capture the extent of change at the moment of transformation, just when the visual perception of the landscape seems suspended between signs of fragility and continuity.
This second volume continues the thematic series dedicated to the photographic research project Linea veloce Bologna-Milan. It presents the results of the work by Dominique Auerbacher along the stretch between Bologna and Parma in spring 2004. A year on, this research on the same territory that was the subject of research carried out by the American photographer John Gossage in 2003. This project has been organized by Linea di Confine per Fotografia Contemporanea, Rubiera, Reggio Emilia.
