A children's booklet by the Haarlem artist Luuk Wilmering, made in connection with his monumental art commission for a brede school, an integrated facility that houses a daycare centre, playgroup, after-school care and a primary school for children aged 0 to 12. According to the artist, the booklet gives children an entry point for thinking about perception. Its subjects are the reflection of light, the speed of light and colour. Wilmering works across installation, collage, sound walks, slide-carousel works and artist books, and this small self-published title belongs to the artist-book side of that practice. The 20-page hardcover was issued in an edition of 250 copies. The title plays on the idea that something can only be seen once it has colour.
