Philip-Lorca diCorcia: Hustlers
€536.00
A large-format photobook by Philip-Lorca diCorcia featuring his 'Hustlers' series.
Between 1990 and 1992, funded by a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, photographer Philip-Lorca diCorcia made multiple trips to Los Angeles to scout locations, invent scenarios, and find male prostitutes who agreed to pose for his camera. The resulting series, 'Hustlers,' explores the tension between the casual and the posed in cinematic photography. This large-format publication by Steidl captures these meticulously planned images, which were first exhibited at MoMA in 1993.
