The times of Sem Presser (De tijden van Sem Presser) is a significant photographic monograph published by Uitgeverij Voetnoot in 2001. The book features an extensive overview of the work of Sem Presser (1917-1986), one of the most productive and well-known Dutch photojournalists. It includes approximately 150 photographs, many of which were never shown before, selected from his archive of nearly half a million negatives. The text, written by H.J.A. Hofland, provides an introductory essay on Presser's career, covering his work in newspapers and magazines since the late 1930s, his experiences during World War II as one of the few who documented the German occupation of the Netherlands, and his sensitive approach to capturing human emotions and daily life.
