Soul and Soul is the title of Kiyoshi Suzuki's first published book (in Japanese, Nagare No Uta). The book offered here is not the same, but rather a retrospective catalog that takes the title and excerpts entire pages of the original book, and then goes on to do the same for several of Suzuki's brilliant photobooks. What is very interesting to see is the passion the Artist had for the photobook itself. His designs and mock-ups are reproduced throughout, with margins and measurements drawn in. In fact, this edition, which also reproduces the cover image of the original Soul and Soul is differentiated by such markings over the front.
