Sylvia Willink / Vincent Vlasblom

€18.00
An archival portrait of Carel Willink's life and work through photographs, letters, sketches, catalogues and periodicals. Includes texts by Jurrie Poot and Hans Redeker, alongside poems and facsimiles.
Photographs of Carel Willink's personal life appear alongside letters, sketches, documents and periodicals in an archival portrait of the Dutch painter. The selection brings together material from Sylvia Willink's archive, covering both his life and his artistic work. Rather than presenting paintings alone, this documentary publication includes stories, correspondence and other records, with illustrations and facsimiles in black and white and colour. Catalogues are also part of the archival material. Contributions include texts by Jurrie Poot and Hans Redeker, as well as poems. Prepared for the Willink centenary celebrations, the volume was designed by Fabian Smit of Fabdesign, combining written contributions with the visual and documentary material.
