Sylvia Willink

Sylvia Willink (born March 25, 1944) is a Dutch visual artist, specifically known as a painter and sculptor. She was the fourth and final wife of the renowned Dutch painter Carel Willink. Since the 1970s, she has worked under her own name, creating portraits and sculptures of notable figures such as Anne Frank, Willem Frederik Hermans, and Queen Beatrix. She manages the estate of her late husband and is responsible for his legacy, including the curation of archives and the design of his memorial in Amsterdam. In 1999, she co-edited 'Een eeuw Willink' (A Century of Willink), a documentary book celebrating the life and work of Carel Willink.[1,2,3]
