Lima

This photographic book features original work by Dutch photographer Willem Diepraam, documenting the social and economic realities of life in the slums and shanty towns of Lima, Peru. Commissioned by NOVIB, the publication provides a visual exploration of urban poverty and living conditions. The text is written in Dutch by Diepraam and includes a fragment from Albert Camus' 'Le Mythe de Sisyphe'. It is presented as an oblong folio with heavy black boards, featuring 62 pages of profuse illustrations, primarily in black and white with one color plate.
