Antoine d'Agata

Antoine d'Agata is a French photographer and filmmaker known for his raw, visceral, and confrontational imagery. Born in Marseille, he spent many years traveling the world before discovering photography in New York in 1991. He studied at the International Center of Photography under Nan Goldin and Larry Clark. A member of Magnum Photos since 2004, d'Agata's work explores themes of addiction, sexuality, violence, and marginality, often blurring the line between documentary and confession.[1,3,4,5]
