Charles Jongejans

Charles Adriaan Jongejans (1918–1995) was a Dutch graphic and industrial designer. He received his education at the Haagse Academie van Beeldende Kunsten from 1936 to 1940, where he was originally trained as a sculptor but pivoted toward graphic design. Jongejans became known for his work in typography and visual communication. His contribution to the book 'Een eeuw Hoenderloo 1851-1951' is noted for its innovative typographic treatment, specifically his use of cursive fonts like Bodoni in English layouts during the early 1950s.[1,2]
