Gabriele Nothhelfer

Gabriele Nothhelfer (born Zimmermann) is a German photographer and artist. She was trained at the Berlin Lette-Schule from 1967 to 1969 and later studied at the Folkwang School of Design in Essen under Otto Steinert. From 1972 to 2006, she worked as a scientific and technical photographer at the Institute for Land and Sea Transport at the Technical University of Berlin. She is known for her minimalist approach to photography, often documenting public events and everyday life with a distinct individual style. Her work is held in numerous national and international collections, including those of the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation and the Museum Folkwang.[1]
