Guy Mandery is a French photographer, author, and academic who entered the photography world in the early 1970s following a background in linguistics. He has held numerous roles, including iconographer, specialized journalist, editor-in-chief of a photography magazine, exhibition curator, and teacher of the history of photography. He is a recognized expert on the bibliographic history of photographic albums and has co-authored several works on the Lausanne 'La Guilde du livre' and the bibliography of Robert Doisneau.[1,2,3]
