Joseph L.M. Neefjes (also known as Joep Neefjes) is a Dutch visual artist, photographer, and concept thinker. He is recognized for his artistic projects under the name of his fictional press bureau, Loodwick Press Images (LPI). His work often involves extensive archival research and the curation of large-scale image collections to construct postmodern narratives. A notable work is 'Zeef het zand' (2004), an art project for the Dutch Forensic Institute that combines a postmodern detective story with 600 black and white photographs. Neefjes has also designed public works, such as the war monument 'Schaduwcorrectie 1995' in Enkhuizen. He studied at the School for Photography at the Royal Academy in The Hague and is active in various cultural and artistic initiatives across the Netherlands.[2,3]
