Marco Martins is a Portuguese writer, filmmaker, and photographer born in Lisbon in 1972. He graduated from the Lisbon School of Theatre and Film (Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema) in 1994, where he undertook apprenticeships with notable figures such as Wim Wenders and Manoel de Oliveira. Martins is known for his work in cinema, including films like 'Alice' (2005) and 'How To Draw a Perfect Circle' (2009). In the field of photography, he has collaborated on various projects, notably co-authoring the book 'Tokyo Diaries' with André Príncipe.[1,2,3]
