Margarita Tupitsyn

Margarita Tupitsyn is a Russian-born American art historian, independent curator, and critic. She moved to the United States in 1975 and received her Ph.D. in art history from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY). Tupitsyn began organizing exhibitions of contemporary Soviet art in the late 1970s and has since become a prominent scholar of Russian avant-garde and conceptual art. She has served as a guest curator for various institutions, including the Queens Museum, Sprengel Museum, Guggenheim Museum, and Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art.[1,2,3,4]
