Max Nord
author
Max Nord (1916–2008) was a prominent Dutch journalist, writer, and translator. He began his career in journalism in the late 1930s, working for publications such as Het Vaderland and later becoming one of the main editors of the newspaper Het Parool. During World War II, he was involved with the illegal press. Beyond his journalistic work, Nord was also a poet and literary critic who studied political science in Paris. He is noted for his contributions to Dutch literature and media throughout the 20th century.[1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8]
