Maya Pejic

Maya Pejic (1935–2023) was a Dutch documentary photographer and visual storyteller known for her evocative and humanistic approach to photography. She began her career in the 1960s, establishing herself as a respected contributor to major publications such as NRC Handelsblad, HP/De Tijd, and Viva. Her work often focused on social documentation, human narratives, and intimate portraits.
