Reinier Kurpershoek is a Dutch photographer and video artist born in Amsterdam in 1959. He has been a prominent collaborator with Ron Sluik since 1982, working together under the joint name Sluik/Kurpershoek to create various site-specific installations, audio-visual works, and multimedia projects. His artistic output spans several decades and includes video art, sculpture, and photography. Kurpershoek's work often explores complex themes such as mourning, memory, and industrial decay.
