Ron Sluik

Ron Sluik is a Dutch photographer and video artist born in Enschede in 1961. He is known for his collaborative work with Reinier Kurpershoek under the name Sluik/Kurpershoek, which began in 1982. His artistic practice often involves social photography, site-specific installations, and multimedia projects that explore historical contexts and cultural identities. In addition to his visual arts career, he has also worked as a director and curator, notably serving as a curator for the Art Centre AoRTa in Chisinau, Moldova. His work frequently engages with themes of memory, history, and social context.[1,2]
