Rik Suermondt is a Dutch freelance publicist, exhibition maker, and photo-historian. He studied art history at Utrecht University (1980–1987) and has been active in the field since 1987. He lectures on art history and photography theory at Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht and AKV/St. Joost Breda. Suermondt is known for his work on Dutch photo-books and various photographic archives.[1,2]
