Ton Broekhuis is a Dutch photographer and educator born in 1951 in Heerlen. He graduated cum laude from the School of Photography in The Hague and later pursued training at the Social Academy in Culemborg and the Film Academy in Amsterdam. Broekhuis began his career as a 'visualizer' at the Kritiese Filmers in Breda before becoming an influential figure in the Northern Netherlands photography scene.
