Wim Crouwel

Wim Crouwel (1928–2019) was a prominent Dutch graphic designer and typographer known for his rigorous, grid-based approach to visual communication. He was a leading figure in the International Typographic Style (Swiss Style). After training as a painter, he studied typography and co-founded the design studio Total Design in 1963. Crouwel's work is characterized by structural logic, mastery of color, and influential type designs. He served as a professor and was a key figure in modernizing Dutch graphic design.[1,3]
