Piet Zwart

Piet Zwart was a highly influential Dutch graphic designer, typographer, and photographer. He is considered a pioneer of 'New Typography', a style that emphasized clarity, geometric structures, and the functional use of type. Zwart worked for several important publications, including the magazine 'Deelicht', and his designs were central to the modernist movement in the Netherlands. He was also an active participant in the New Photography movement, which sought to use photography as a tool for modern expression and social documentation.[1]
