The Desert is Across the Street

The desert is across the street is a collaborative artists' book featuring a series of black and white photographs. The work was created as a joint project between three artists: Urs Lüthi, Elke Kilga, and David Weiss (who collaborated with Fischli before their well-known partnership). It was published in 1975 for an exhibition at De Appel in Amsterdam. The book is presented in an oblong softcover format and contains approximately 31 black and white images. It serves as a catalog of the collaborative photographic series, showcasing the unique artistic interaction between the three contributors.
