Bernard Lamarche-Vadel (1949–2000) was a French writer, poet, art critic, and photographer. He first became known as an art critic in the 1970s, specializing in contemporary art and photography. A graduate of the École pratique des hautes études in sociology of art, he studied under figures such as Roland Barthes and Gilles Deleuze.
