Christoph Heubeck

Christoph Heubeck is a Professor of Geology (General Geology and Earth History) at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena. His research interests include sedimentology, stratigraphy, sedimentary petrography, regional geology, and deformed sedimentary basins. He has extensive experience in field-based studies, particularly in the Barberton Greenstone Belt of South Africa and Eswatini. He was previously a professor at the Freie Universität Berlin (2000–2014) and worked as a staff geologist for BP Amoco Canada.[2,3]
