Françoise Heilbrun is a prominent French curator and art historian who served as the Chief Curator of the Photography Department at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. Since the museum's opening in 1986, she has been instrumental in developing its photographic collections and organizing major exhibitions. Her expertise covers a wide range of subjects, including portraiture, photojournalism, and the history of photography from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century. She has authored numerous scholarly works on photographers such as Nadar, Charles Nègre, and Pierre Bonnard.[2]
