Maria Morris Hambourg

Maria Morris Hambourg is an independent curator of photography and a prolific author specializing in the history of photography. She has served as a curator at several major institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, where she was involved with the Department of Photographs. Her work often focuses on significant 19th and 20th-century photographers such as Irving Penn, Edouard Baldus, and Eugène Atget. She has authored numerous monographs and exhibition catalogs that provide comprehensive scholarly overviews of photographic art.[1]
