Hendrik Hazelhoff, writing under the pseudonym Max Dendermonde, was a prominent Dutch writer, journalist, and poet. He was particularly noted for his prolific production of 'bedrijfsgeschiedenissen' (corporate histories), writing over fifty such books for various companies. His literary style often combined reportage with narrative elements, and his works explored the intersection of labor, industry, and daily life in 20th-century Netherlands. He was born in Winschoten and lived much of his life in the Netherlands before spending his final years in Florida. His works are often characterized by a focus on the social and historical aspects of the Dutch landscape.[1,2,3]
