Aart Klein (1909–2001) was a prominent Dutch photographer known for his high-contrast, graphic black-and-white photography. His work often focused on the Dutch landscape, industrial structures, and maritime environments, characterized by an emphasis on geometric forms and the interplay of light and shadow. He began his professional career at the Polygoon photo press agency in the 1930s. His major works include extensive documentation of the Dutch Delta works, as seen in his 1963 book 'Delta.
