Carel Blazer

Carel Blazer was a Dutch photographer whose work bridged the period of New Photography with the social reportage of the mid-20th century. He is notably remembered for his documentation of the Spanish Civil War and his extensive work in social photography during the 1940s and 1950s. Blazer was trained in Switzerland and was a key figure in Dutch photographic circles, contributing both to artistic and journalistic photography.[1]
